New Delhi, 4th Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday hailed the successful launch of GSLV-F17 carrying EOS-05, calling the achievement a proud moment for the nation.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said the successful mission reflects the “excellence, innovation and growing capabilities” of India’s space sector. He described EOS-05 as India’s first-ever imaging satellite from Geosynchronous orbit.
Prime Minister Modi also highlighted the expanding partnership between the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Indian industry. He said the collaboration was adding new strength and scale to the country’s space programme and expanding India’s capabilities across the entire space ecosystem.
“Yet another outstanding achievement by ISRO and a proud moment for our nation,” the Prime Minister said while congratulating the space agency on the mission.
The Prime Minister’s remarks came after the successful launch of the GSLV-F17 mission, further underscoring the growing capabilities of India’s space programme.
