New Delhi, 13th Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on September 13 on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi and reviewed the progress of bilateral relations.
Modi recalled India’s ancient civilisational linkages with Kazakhstan and expressed satisfaction over the steady development of bilateral ties in recent years.
The two leaders reviewed cooperation across several areas, including political relations, trade, defence and security, connectivity, energy, critical minerals, emerging technologies, creative economy and people-to-people ties.
They also exchanged views on regional and international developments.
The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen the India-Kazakhstan strategic partnership for the mutual benefit of their people and to promote peace, stability, development and prosperity in the region.
