Varanasi, 6th Oct: The BJP’s Seva Sankalp Yatra, organised to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of dedicated public service as head of government, will culminate on October 7 with grand closing ceremonies in Varanasi and Vadnagar.

The Yatra, which began on September 17, has travelled across different parts of the country carrying the message of Seva, Sankalp and social responsibility, inspired by PM Modi’s public service journey.

The concluding day will bring together thousands of Seva Yatris, BJYM Karyakartas and young citizens at two places closely associated with the Prime Minister’s life and spiritual journey.

In Varanasi, Seva Yatris will conclude their journey with Jalabhishek at Kashi Vishwanath Dham, seeking the blessings of Baba Vishwanath. BJP National President Nitin Nabin, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and BJYM National President Hemang Joshi will address the gathering.

In Vadnagar, participants will offer Jal Abhishek at the historic Hatkeshwar Mahadev Mandir, marking the culmination of the journey with prayers and a renewed commitment to the spirit of Seva. The programme will be addressed by Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi and BJP All Cells Coordinator VD Sharma.

The simultaneous programmes will symbolise the journey coming full circle — from Vadnagar, where PM Modi’s journey began, to Varanasi, which has become the centre of his parliamentary and spiritual connection with the people.

The Seva Sankalp Yatra has sought to turn the celebration of 25 years of public service into a wider movement of social responsibility among young people. Participants undertook cleanliness drives, tree plantation, water conservation, Gau Seva, service at old-age homes and beneficiary interactions, among other initiatives.

The October 7 culmination will mark not only the end of the Yatra but also a renewed commitment by thousands of young BJP and BJYM workers to carry forward the spirit of Seva and nation-building inspired by PM Modi’s 25-year public service journey.
