BRICS Marks Two Decades with Commemorative Postage Stamps

Stamps celebrate BRICS cooperation and India’s people-centric 2026 Chairship

New Delhi, 12th Sept: Two commemorative postage stamps marking two decades of BRICS cooperation were released on September 12 on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi.

Bearing the inscription “BRICS: Two Decades of Cooperation, 2006–2026” and “ब्रिक्स: सहयोग के दो दशक, 2006–2026”, the stamps celebrate the evolution of BRICS as a platform for dialogue and cooperation.

The stamps also reflect the priorities of India’s BRICS Chairship 2026, under the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.”

The first stamp represents the emergence of BRICS as a platform founded on mutual respect, understanding and solidarity. The second features the BRICS logo and reflects India’s Chairship vision of “humanity first” and a people-centric approach.
