Gadkari Reviews Key Logistics Projects, Seeks Faster Execution

Road Transport Minister Calls for Timely Completion of Multimodal Infrastructure to Boost Connectivity

New Delhi, 6th July: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday reviewed the progress of projects being implemented by the National Highways Logistics Management Limited and directed officials to expedite the completion of key multimodal infrastructure initiatives.

Chairing a review meeting in New Delhi, Gadkari assessed the status of Multi Modal Logistics Parks (MMLPs), ropeways, intermodal stations and wayside amenities being developed across the country.

The minister said these projects are crucial for strengthening multimodal connectivity, improving logistics efficiency, reducing transportation costs and creating new economic opportunities while promoting balanced regional development.

Gadkari also reviewed implementation challenges and directed all stakeholders to remove bottlenecks on priority to ensure timely completion of the projects in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat and Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
