HM Amit Shah Pays Tribute to Narayana Guru, Ayyankali

New Delhi, 28th Aug: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Friday paid tributes to Sree Narayana Guru on his birth anniversary, recalling his contribution towards building a harmonious and just society.
In a post on X, Shah said Sree Narayana Guru showed the path to creating a more harmonious, just and benevolent society through spirituality.
He highlighted the social reformer’s principles of knowledge, compassion, equality and spiritual freedom, saying these values continue to inspire India’s journey towards greater progress.
“His principles of knowledge, compassion, equality and spiritual freedom continue to inspire us on our path to India’s greatness,” Shah said.
Shah also paid tributes to Mahatma Ayyankali on his birth anniversary, describing him as a pioneering social reformer who contributed to social transformation through education in Kerala.
The Home Minister said Ayyankali laid the foundation for a united and strong society based on social justice and equity.
He said Ayyankali’s values continue to guide the country’s pursuit of progress and social advancement.
Shah’s tributes highlighted the enduring relevance of both social reformers and their contributions to education, equality, social justice and a more inclusive society.
