New Delhi, 29th June: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday took oath as a re-elected member of the Rajya Sabha representing Karnataka, with Rajya Sabha Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan administering the oath at Parliament House.
Kharge took the oath in Hindi during a ceremony attended by Deputy Chairman Harivansh, Leader of the House J.P. Nadda, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, Minister of State for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal, and Minister of State L. Murugan.
Several senior Congress leaders, including Sonia Gandhi, Jairam Ramesh, Mukul Wasnik, Syed Naseer Hussain, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and K.C. Venugopal, were also present on the occasion.
Rajya Sabha Secretary General P.C. Mody and other senior officials of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat attended the oath-taking ceremony.
