New Delhi, 3rd Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed deep sorrow over the passing of renowned Gujarati music composer Gaurang Vyas, recalling his significant contribution to the Gujarati music world.
The Prime Minister said Gaurang Vyas carried forward the rich musical legacy of his father, Avinash Vyas, and carved out a distinct identity for himself in Gujarati music.
Modi said Gujarat had lost a talented creator with the composer’s demise and noted that his invaluable contribution to Gujarati music would always be remembered.
The Prime Minister prayed for the peace of the departed soul and extended his condolences to the bereaved family and Gaurang Vyas’s large number of admirers.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister expressed his grief in Gujarati, saying that he was deeply saddened by the death of the noted composer and highlighting Gaurang Vyas’s role in carrying forward his father’s rich musical tradition.
