PM Modi Receives Indonesia’s Highest Civilian Honour
Award Recognises Contribution to Strengthening India-Indonesia Strategic Partnership

Jakarta, 7th July: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on Monday conferred the Bintang Adipurna of the Republic of Indonesia, the country’s highest civilian honour, by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
The prestigious award was presented in recognition of Modi’s leadership and exceptional contribution to strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and Indonesia.
Accepting the honour, the Prime Minister dedicated the award to the people of both countries and to the enduring civilisational ties that have connected India and Indonesia for centuries.
The honour came during Modi’s State Visit to Indonesia, where the two countries also signed a series of agreements to deepen cooperation in defence, trade, technology, healthcare, maritime security and education.
