Bhopal, 7th Oct: The Madhya Pradesh government has ordered the transfer of two Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and assigned additional responsibility to another IPS officer as part of an administrative reshuffle in the state police.

The order was issued by the Madhya Pradesh Home Department on October 6, 2026.

According to the order, IPS officer Prakash Chandra Parihar (2016 batch), who was serving as Superintendent of Police, Pandhurna district, has been transferred to the Police Headquarters in Bhopal as Assistant Inspector General of Police.

IPS officer Vidita Dhankhar (2021 batch), who was serving as Senani (Commandant), 2nd Battalion, Visbal, Gwalior, has been appointed as the Superintendent of Police, Pandhurna district.

The government has also assigned IPS officer Shrutkirti Somvanshi (2018 batch), currently serving as Senani, 13th Battalion, Visbal, Gwalior, the additional charge of Senani, 2nd Battalion, Visbal, Gwalior.

The transfers and additional charge have been ordered in the name of the Governor of Madhya Pradesh and will take effect as specified in the government order.
