Hyderabad, 9th May: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka and Telangana on May 10 to inaugurate, dedicate and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth around ₹9,400 crore.

During his visit to Hyderabad, the Prime Minister will launch projects focused on connectivity, industrial growth, healthcare and logistics infrastructure. He will also participate in the 45th anniversary celebrations of The Art of Living in Bengaluru.

At around 11 AM, Modi will attend the celebrations organised by The Art of Living, founded by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, and inaugurate the newly constructed Dhyan Mandir meditation hall at the organisation’s international centre in Bengaluru.

Major Telangana Infrastructure Push
In Hyderabad, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the four-laning of National Highway-167 from Gudebellur to Mahabubnagar on the Hyderabad-Panaji Economic Corridor. The project, worth over ₹3,175 crore, is expected to reduce travel time by nearly 90 minutes and improve connectivity between Telangana and Karnataka.

He will also lay the foundation stone for the Zaheerabad Industrial Area in Sangareddy district under the Hyderabad-Nagpur Industrial Corridor project. Spread across 3,245 acres and being developed at a cost of over ₹2,350 crore, the industrial township is expected to attract investments of nearly ₹10,000 crore and generate large-scale employment opportunities.

PM MITRA Park and Rail Projects
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the PM MITRA Park at Warangal, also known as the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, developed under the Centre’s PM MITRA Scheme at an estimated cost of around ₹1,700 crore. The park is designed to strengthen India’s textile manufacturing ecosystem under the government’s “5F” vision — Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign.

The Prime Minister will also dedicate railway infrastructure projects worth around ₹1,535 crore, including sections of the Kazipet-Vijayawada multi-tracking project and the Kazipet Rail Under Rail Bypass aimed at easing congestion and improving freight movement.

Healthcare and Energy Infrastructure
PM Modi will dedicate Indian Oil’s Greenfield Malkapur Terminal project in Hyderabad, developed at a cost of more than ₹600 crore to enhance petroleum handling capacity in the region.

In the healthcare sector, the Prime Minister will dedicate Sindhu Hospital, a cancer-focused multi-super speciality quaternary care institution in Hyderabad. The hospital has 1,500 beds, 29 operation theatres and facilities for advanced cancer treatment and critical care services.

The Centre said the projects reflect the vision of “Viksit Telangana for Viksit Bharat” through integrated infrastructure and economic development initiatives.
