New Delhi, 28th May: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid tributes to N. T. Rama Rao on his birth anniversary, remembering his contribution to public welfare, governance and Indian cinema.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said NTR Garu would always be remembered for his efforts to ensure dignity for the poor and marginalised sections of society.
“Tributes to the great NTR Garu on his birth anniversary. He is fondly remembered for his commitment towards public welfare and governance which ensured dignity for the poor and marginalised,” Modi said.
The Prime Minister also praised NTR’s contribution to cinema, saying his work continues to captivate generations and his ideals remain a source of inspiration.
Modi further stated that the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh, led by N. Chandrababu Naidu, remains committed to fulfilling the aspirations envisioned by NTR for the people of the state.
NTR, founder of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), served as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and remains one of the most influential figures in Telugu politics and cinema.
