New Delhi, 3rd June: Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan on Wednesday paid tributes to eminent freedom fighter, scholar and writer V.V.S. Aiyar on his death anniversary at Uprashtrapati Bhavan.
Remembering the revolutionary leader, the Vice President described Aiyar as a fearless patriot who dedicated his life to India’s freedom struggle and made lasting contributions to the country’s intellectual and literary heritage.
Paying homage, Radhakrishnan said V.V.S. Aiyar’s commitment to the cause of national independence continues to inspire generations of Indians.
He noted that besides his role in the freedom movement, Aiyar enriched Tamil literature through his writings, translations and scholarly work.
The Vice President said Aiyar’s courage, intellect and unwavering devotion to the nation remain a source of inspiration for people across the country.
