“I look forward to working closely with Prime Minister Frederiksen to further strengthen the India-Denmark Green Strategic Partnership and take our cooperation to new heights for the benefit of our peoples,” Modi stated.

India and Denmark elevated their relationship to a Green Strategic Partnership in 2020, making Denmark one of the first countries with which India established such a framework focused on climate-friendly growth and sustainable solutions.

The partnership has since expanded across sectors including renewable energy, water management, green shipping, urban development, innovation and technology.

Officials said the Prime Minister’s message reflects New Delhi’s continued commitment to deepening engagement with Copenhagen and advancing cooperation on global sustainability and economic development initiatives.
