New Delhi, 16th July: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended greetings to the nation on the sacred occasion of Rath Yatra, describing the festival as a radiant expression of India’s timeless spiritual and cultural heritage.

In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister said the traditions associated with Rath Yatra have inspired generations across India and the world, embodying the values of humility, collective participation and selfless service.

He said the festival reflects the country’s rich spiritual legacy and continues to strengthen the bonds of unity and devotion among people.

Praying for the well-being of all, Prime Minister Modi wished that Mahaprabhu Jagannath bless everyone with good health, happiness and prosperity. He also prayed for strength in all endeavours and for a deeper spirit of togetherness in society.

The Prime Minister concluded his message with the greeting, “Jai Jagannath!”
