New Delhi, 16th June: The Bhai Mani Singh Memorial Lecture was held at the Deputy Speaker Hall of the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi, where eminent scholars and spiritual leaders paid tribute to the literary contributions and martyrdom of Amar Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Ji.

Organised by the Bhai Mani Singh Gurmat Shodh and Adhayan Sansthan Trust, the programme was dedicated to the martyrdom day of the 18th-century Sikh scholar, philosopher and strategist.

The event was attended by Nirmala Sant Dr Rameshwaranand Ji, Bhai Ranjit Singh, Chief Granthi of Gurudwara Sri Bangla Sahib, Prof. Jagbir Singh, Chancellor of Central University of Punjab, and former Vice-Chancellor Dr Kuldipchand Agnihotri, among other dignitaries.

A booklet titled “Sikh Itihasa Ke Mahan Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Ji” was released during the ceremony. Speakers highlighted Bhai Mani Singh Ji’s role in preserving Sikh scriptural traditions, particularly his contribution to the compilation and editing of the Dasam Granth.

Addressing the gathering, speakers described his life as a symbol of the synthesis of ‘Shastra and Shaastra’, underlining his commitment to faith, knowledge and sacrifice. The organisers also stressed the need to take his life and message to the wider society.
