New Delhi, 15th Oct: Union Jal Shakti Minister C R Patil met Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Thursday to discuss key issues related to the ministry and the state, with particular emphasis on improving water management and accelerating the implementation of government schemes.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen water resource management in Rajasthan and ensure that ongoing schemes are completed within their stipulated timelines. Effective coordination between the Centre and the state was a key focus of the discussions.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of ensuring that the benefits of government programmes reach every eligible beneficiary without unnecessary delays.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Centre has reiterated its commitment to better water resource management, closer coordination with state governments and the timely delivery of scheme benefits.
