New Delhi, 15th April: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed deep grief over the tragic mishap in Fatehgarh Sahib district of Punjab.
In a message shared by the Prime Minister’s Office on social media platform X, Modi said he was pained by the incident and extended condolences to the bereaved families.
“Pained to hear about the mishap in Fatehgarh Sahib district, Punjab. I extend my condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. Praying for the speedy recovery of those injured,” the Prime Minister said.
The message comes in the wake of a tragic road accident involving pilgrims in the district, which resulted in multiple casualties and injuries. Authorities are continuing rescue and medical efforts for those affected.
