New Delhi, 16th Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers to Maa Katyayani on Friday, marking the sacred sixth day, or Shashthi, of Navratri. He wished that the goddess’s blessings would bring strength, courage and positive energy into everyone’s life.
In his message, Modi paid homage to Maa Katyayani and expressed hope that her divine grace would empower people to face life’s challenges with confidence and determination.
Sharing his wishes in Hindi, the Prime Minister wrote, “नवरात्रि की पवित्र षष्ठी पर मां कात्यायनी के श्रीचरणों में कोटि-कोटि नमन! मेरी कामना है कि उनकी अनुकंपा से हर किसी के जीवन में असीम शक्ति, साहस और सकारात्मक ऊर्जा का संचार हो।”
Maa Katyayani is worshipped as the sixth form of Goddess Durga during Navratri. Devotees offer prayers to her during this period, seeking courage, strength and divine blessings.
