New Delhi, 25th Aug: President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday extended greetings and best wishes to citizens on the eve of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, particularly members of the Muslim community.
In her message, the President recalled the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, saying they inspire people to follow the path of pious conduct and dutifulness.
Murmu extended her greetings to fellow citizens living in India and abroad and said the occasion was an opportunity to remember the noble ideals associated with the Prophet.
She expressed hope that these ideals would inspire citizens to contribute actively towards building an inclusive and developed India.
