President Murmu to Visit Gujarat and Rajasthan from Feb 12 to 14

President Droupadi Murmu will embark on an official visit to Gujarat and Rajasthan from February 12 to 14, 2024. Her itinerary includes significant engagements aimed at fostering cultural, educational, and social development in the region.

February 12:
President Murmu will commence her visit by gracing the 200th Janmotsav – Gyan Jyoti Parv Smaranotsav Samaroh, commemorating the birth anniversary of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, at Tankara in Gujarat. Additionally, she will address the 20th convocation of the prestigious Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology in Surat, emphasizing the importance of quality education and technological advancement.

February 13:
Continuing her engagements, President Murmu will visit the Srimad Rajchandra Mission in Dharampur, Valsad, underscoring the significance of spiritual and social initiatives in promoting holistic development. Moreover, she will engage with members of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) of Gujarat at Dharampur, highlighting the government’s commitment to inclusive growth and empowerment.

February 14:
On the concluding day of her visit, President Murmu will address a gathering of tribal women associated with various Self Help Groups at Beneshwar Dham, Rajasthan, focusing on empowering women through socio-economic initiatives and community participation.

President Murmu’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to promoting cultural diversity, education, and socio-economic development across regions, fostering unity and progress.
