New Delhi, 4th Nov: Union Minister Giriraj Singh’s attack on Rahul Gandhi intensified the political exchange between the BJP and Congress, with Singh challenging the opposition leader to accept Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s offer for a parliamentary debate.
Reacting to Rahul Gandhi’s challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Singh questioned whether the Congress leader thought the people of India could be misled. He also used the derogatory term “Chirkut” to target Gandhi over his political remarks.
Singh urged Gandhi to announce a date, accept Amit Shah’s challenge and allow a special session of Parliament to be convened for discussion.
The Union Minister further accused Gandhi of spreading confusion across the country and attempting to incite civil unrest. He claimed that the Congress leader’s political agenda had been exposed.
The remarks came amid a heated political exchange over parliamentary discussions, including the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
