Leaders later offered floral tributes at Ambedkar’s portrait in the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan, remembering his contribution to shaping India’s democratic framework.

Addressing students during a programme organised by PRIDE, Om Birla described Ambedkar’s life as a “courageous saga of struggle,” highlighting how he transformed challenges into opportunities.

He emphasised that Ambedkar’s ideals of equality, liberty, justice and fraternity continue to guide India’s democratic journey and inspire generations.

Birla urged young citizens to adopt a “Nation First” approach, stating that their innovation, dedication and commitment will play a crucial role in building a developed India.
