New Delhi, August 23: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to launch a nationwide public awareness campaign highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public office under the theme “25 Years of PM Modi – Bemisaal”, with a special focus on young people and Generation Z, according to party sources.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held an extensive meeting with BJP national president Nitin Nabin and the party’s newly appointed national office-bearers. The meeting, which began on August 22, continued until around 11 pm and lasted over four hours.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister interacted individually with all 65 newly appointed national office-bearers. Discussions covered the party’s current organisational functioning, future strategy, expansion plans and the changing political environment.

According to sources, Modi’s interaction with the new team went beyond formal introductions. He asked office-bearers about their organisational journeys, experiences and the most significant lessons they had learned during their work in the organisation.

Members of the new team also shared their experiences, suggestions and feedback with the Prime Minister. Modi listened to their views and sought their inputs on strengthening the organisation.

Focus on New Thinking and Ideas
A key focus of the meeting was on “new thinking and new ideas” and adapting the party’s organisational approach to changing times and the expectations of the younger generation.

The meeting stressed the need to strengthen the organisation from the booth level to the national level, increase workers’ engagement and deepen the party’s direct connect with the people.

Sources said discussions also covered the future expansion of the organisation, its existing working mechanisms and the political challenges likely to emerge in the coming period.

Modi also shared several experiences from his days as a BJP organisational leader. He spoke about the challenges he faced during that period and the lessons he gained from working at the grassroots level.

The interaction therefore went beyond a conventional address by the Prime Minister. Members of the new national team were given an opportunity to present their views, share suggestions and exchange organisational experiences.

After the meeting, Modi emphasised the importance of organisational meetings as a strong platform for generating new ideas and perspectives. His focus remained on further strengthening the party and deepening its connection with the public.

Youth and Gen Z in Focus
According to party sources, the BJP is also preparing a series of initiatives aimed at connecting more closely with young voters and Generation Z. Several schemes and outreach programmes are expected to be highlighted as part of the party’s broader youth-focused campaign.

The proposed “25 Years of PM Modi – Bemisaal” campaign is expected to use Modi’s political and governance journey as a central theme while seeking to connect it with the aspirations of young Indians.

Electoral Preparedness and Organisational Expansion
Election preparedness, organisational expansion, strengthening the party’s grassroots presence and communicating the government’s work more effectively to the public were also key issues discussed during the meeting.

The meeting was the first major extended interaction between Prime Minister Modi and the BJP’s newly constituted national team. The presence of party president Nitin Nabin was also significant, with the new leadership team focusing on building organisational momentum ahead of upcoming political challenges.

Overall, the meeting reflected an emphasis on organisational strengthening, youth outreach, new ideas and deeper public engagement, while preparing the party for its future electoral and political roadmap.
