New Delhi, 22nd Oct: OnePlus is reportedly developing a new sub-flagship smartphone that could launch as the OnePlus Turbo Pro or OnePlus Turbo 7 Pro later this year. The company has yet to confirm the device’s name, specifications or launch timeline, but a new leak has revealed several possible features.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the rumoured smartphone could feature a high-refresh-rate display, a 200-megapixel primary camera and a large-capacity battery aimed at users seeking powerful performance and extended usage.
OnePlus Turbo Pro: Leaked Specifications
The handset is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 185Hz. If accurate, the display could offer particularly smooth visuals for gaming and everyday use.
The phone is also said to use Qualcomm’s unannounced SM8845 Pro chipset, which the leak suggests could be marketed as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Pro. Qualcomm has not officially confirmed this processor or its commercial name.
For photography, the device could feature a 200-megapixel primary rear camera with a large sensor. However, details about the remaining camera hardware and front-facing camera have not been revealed.
Battery Could Reach 10,000mAh
Battery capacity is another notable aspect of the leak. The OnePlus Turbo Pro is tipped to pack at least a 9,000mAh battery, while engineering samples are reportedly being tested with batteries of up to 10,000mAh.
The smartphone could also support an external cooling fan accessory, potentially designed to work with a compatible phone case. Details about its availability and compatibility remain unknown.
OnePlus Turbo Series Expansion Expected
The latest leak suggests that OnePlus may be preparing to expand its Turbo smartphone lineup. The company launched the OnePlus Turbo 6 in China in January 2026, followed by its international-market launch as the OnePlus Nord 6 in April, according to the supplied report.
The Turbo 6 features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a 9,000mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC charging.
The leaked specifications of the Turbo Pro remain unconfirmed. OnePlus has not announced an official launch date, pricing or availability, and further details are awaited.
