President Appoints 14 Judicial Officers to Four High Courts
Delhi, J&K and Ladakh, Jharkhand and Karnataka High Courts get new judicial appointments
- 14 judicial officers appointed as Judges or Additional Judges.
- Three officers appointed as Judges of the Delhi High Court.
- Appointments also made to the J&K and Ladakh and Jharkhand High Courts.
- Five officers appointed as Additional Judges of the Karnataka High Court.

New Delhi, 19th Sept: President Droupadi Murmu has appointed 14 judicial officers as Judges and Additional Judges to the Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Jharkhand and Karnataka High Courts, following consultation with the Chief Justice of India.
For the Delhi High Court, Nivedita Anil Sharma and Nisha Sahay Saxena have been appointed as Judges, while Sanjay Sharma, Bharat Parashar, Dr Aditi Choudhary, Dinesh Bhatt and Arun Bhardwaj have been appointed as Additional Judges.
Yash Paul Bourney has been appointed as a Judge of the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court.
For the Jharkhand High Court, Manoj Prasad, Akhil Kumar and Ram Sharma have been appointed as Judges.
The President has also appointed Usharani, K.S. Bharath Kumar and Nerale V. Bhavani as Additional Judges of the Karnataka High Court.
The appointments were made in exercise of the powers conferred by the Constitution of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India.
