Mehsana, 28th April: In one of the most inspiring outcomes of the Mehsana Municipal Corporation elections, longtime BJP district office worker Rameshbhai Bhil has been elected corporator from Ward Number 13.

Bhil, who worked as a peon at the BJP’s district headquarters ‘Kamalam’ for over 28 years, secured victory by a margin of more than 4,000 votes as the BJP’s full panel swept the ward.

His remarkable rise from handling office duties and serving party leaders to entering civic governance has emerged as a powerful example of grassroots political empowerment.

Rameshbhai credited his success to the BJP’s worker-focused culture and pledged to prioritize development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

His election has resonated widely across North Gujarat, with many viewing it as proof that political dedication and long-term service can translate into meaningful leadership opportunities.

The victory also shows BJP’s organizational strategy of promoting loyal grassroots workers into public office.

Rameshbhai’s journey from administrative support staff to elected representative has become one of the most talked-about narratives of Gujarat’s municipal elections.
