Chennai , 12th August :On Tuesday night, IndiGo flight 6E-723 from Kolkata to Chennai declared a full emergency after the pilot detected failure in the left engine just before landing. The plane, carrying 224 passengers and crew, made a safe emergency landing at Chennai Airport at 11:37 pm, with all on board unharmed. The full emergency was lifted by 11:47 pm, and airport operations resumed as normal. Airport authorities praised the crew and ATC for their swift action, preventing any casualties or disruption.
