The women, identified as Rehana Abdul Hamid Mulani, alias Ralliappa, 60, and Farida Mulani, 32, were traced to a building in Dahisar after allegedly absconding following the registration of a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.
According to the police press note, the case was registered under Sections 8(c), 21(b) and 29 of the NDPS Act at Kasturba Marg Police Station, Mumbai. Both accused were residents of Santosh Nagar slum in Borivali East and had been wanted in connection with the case.
