New Daily Train to Connect Kanpur Central and Anand Vihar
Overnight Mail service to serve Etawah, Aligarh, Ghaziabad and five other key stations

- Overnight journey with travel time of 8 hours to 8 hours 10 minutes.
- Eight commercial stoppages, including Etawah, Aligarh and Ghaziabad.

New Delhi, 24th Sept: Indian Railways has approved a new daily Mail train between Kanpur Central and Anand Vihar (T), providing passengers with an additional overnight connectivity option between Kanpur and Delhi.
The service will operate as Train Nos. 14153/14154 Kanpur Central–Anand Vihar (T)–Kanpur Central Mail.
Overnight Connectivity Between Kanpur and Delhi
Train No. 14153 Kanpur Central–Anand Vihar (T) Mail will depart from Kanpur Central at 8:40 pm and reach Anand Vihar (T) at 4:50 am the following morning.
In the return direction, Train No. 14154 Anand Vihar (T)–Kanpur Central Mail will leave Anand Vihar at 11:25 pm and arrive at Kanpur Central at 7:25 am.
The train will cover 428 km in both directions. The journey time will be approximately 8 hours 10 minutes from Kanpur to Anand Vihar and 8 hours on the return journey.
Eight Commercial Stoppages
The daily service will have commercial stoppages at:
- Phaphund
- Etawah
- Tundla
- Hathras
- Aligarh
- Khurja
- Dadri
- Ghaziabad
The new service will provide connectivity to several important towns and cities along the Kanpur–Delhi rail corridor, including Etawah, Aligarh and Ghaziabad.
Strengthening Rail Connectivity
The introduction of the daily Mail service is aimed at strengthening passenger connectivity between Kanpur Central and the National Capital Region.
With its overnight timings, the service will offer passengers an additional travel option between Kanpur and Delhi while improving connectivity to key stations along the route.
