Rajat Sharma Unanimously Re-elected NBDA President
India TV Chairman and Editor-in-Chief unanimously re-elected for 2026-27 as NBDA Board inducts new members

New Delhi, 23rd Sept: Rajat Sharma, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of India TV, was unanimously re-elected President of the News Broadcasters & Digital Association (NBDA) for 2026-27 at a meeting of the association’s Board of Directors on Tuesday.
The NBDA Board expressed confidence in Sharma’s continued leadership.
The association currently has 29 leading news and current affairs broadcasters, comprising 130 news channels and digital platforms, according to the organisation.
Earlier, during its 19th Annual General Meeting, the NBDA welcomed Jayant Mammen Mathew, representing MM TV Ltd., as a new member of the Board.
At the meeting, Rachna Burman, Director–Public Policy & Content Assurance at The Times Group, and Kshipra Jatana, Group General Counsel at Network18 Media & Investments Limited, were appointed Permanent Directors of the NBDA.
