New Delhi, 13th Aug: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Thursday hoisted the National Flag at his residence in New Delhi as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and appealed to citizens across the country to participate in the nationwide initiative ahead of Independence Day.

Calling upon every Indian to join the campaign, Shah urged citizens to hoist the Tricolour at their homes and upload a selfie with the National Flag on the official Har Ghar Tiranga portal.

In a post on X, the Home Minister said the campaign, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has further strengthened the spirit of patriotism and national pride among Indians. He said crores of citizens are connecting with the Tricolour and reinforcing the vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’.

Describing the National Flag as a symbol of India’s unity and collective strength, Shah said the Tiranga represents the sacred pride every citizen takes in the nation and reflects the country’s unwavering unity.

The Home Minister urged people from all walks of life to become part of the movement by displaying the National Flag at their homes and actively participating in the campaign to celebrate the spirit of Independence Day.

The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is being observed across the country to encourage greater public participation in the celebration of India’s national identity and to inspire citizens to proudly display the Tricolour during the Independence Day festivities.
