Indore to Host West Zone Legal Conference on August 8-9

Chief Justice of India, Supreme Court and High Court judges among dignitaries expected to attend two-day legal conference

  • Event is being jointly organised by NALSA, Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority and Madhya Pradesh High Court.
  • Chief Justice of India and judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts will participate.
  • Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Union Minister of State for Law and Justice will also attend.

Indore, 6th Aug: A two-day West Zone Regional Conference will be held at the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore on August 8 and 9, 2026, bringing together senior members of the judiciary, government representatives and officials associated with legal services institutions.

The conference is being jointly organised by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), New Delhi; Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Jabalpur; and the Madhya Pradesh High Court.

According to the organisers, the Chief Justice of India will participate in the conference along with judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts.

The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and the Union Minister of State for Law and Justice (Independent Charge) are also scheduled to attend the two-day event.

The conference will also see participation from the Chief Justice, Executive Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, chairpersons of High Court Legal Services Committees from the western region and Member Secretaries of State Legal Services Authorities from the region.

Judicial officers and other distinguished citizens are also expected to participate in the regional conference.

The event will bring key stakeholders from the judiciary and legal services institutions of the western region together in Indore under the framework of the country’s legal services system.
