New Delhi, 13th Aug: Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu on Thursday flagged off a Tiranga Rally organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026, celebrating the spirit of patriotism ahead of the 79th Independence Day.

The programme began with the inauguration of a Digital Video Wall by Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu and Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol at Udaan Bhawan. The inaugural ceremony was followed by the rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’ by dignitaries and participants.

The Tiranga Rally was flagged off in the presence of Minister of State Murlidhar Mohol, Civil Aviation Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha, and senior officials of the Ministry. Officers and staff from the Ministry, its attached and subordinate offices, public sector undertakings and autonomous bodies participated in the rally while carrying the National Flag.

The procession commenced from Udaan Bhawan and proceeded to Aviation Park at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, with the Union Minister leading the contingent. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, reflecting the spirit of national unity and pride associated with the Independence Day celebrations.

The rally concluded with the singing of the National Anthem at Aviation Park.

According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the event was organised under the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026, which encourages citizens to proudly display and engage with the National Flag as a symbol of unity, patriotism and national pride.

The programme was also attended by Airports Authority of India Chairman Vipin Kumar, DGCA Director General Vir Vikram Yadav, AAIB Director General G.V.G. Yugandhar, BCAS Director General Rajesh Nirwan, AERA Chairperson S.K.G. Rahate, along with other senior officials of the Ministry.
